  1. BBEdit HTML Tools v2 Installation Notes

  3. Welcome to version 2 of the BBEdit HTML tools. Please take a moment to read through the installation notes.

  5. Before installing the new tools, you should:
  6.  
  7.     • Quit BBEdit if it is currently running.
  8.     
  9.     • Remove the older v1.3 tools
  10.  
  11.  
  12. When running this installer, you will be asked to locate your BBEdit application. Once this is located, the installation process will automatically install relevant files in their appropriate locations.

  14. Once the tools are installed, you should set your HTML preferences (found in the 'HTML' pane of BBEdit's preferences). You will also probably want to check the 'HTML Tools Palette' checkbox in the 'Startup' pane. Detailed notes of how to set these preferences can be found in the enclosed documentation.
